Simmer (status)

Simmer is an Fire elemental Damage Over Time effect caused by Conjurer and Companion abilities. Like all DoT's it is not removed by effects that clear all status ailments like Eye Twitch. If cast on a target already affected by a Simmer DoT, it will override the old Simmer even if the new Simmer is weaker.
