Simmer (status)

Simmer is an Fire elemental Damage Over Time effect caused by some Conjurer and Companion abilities. Like all DoT's it is not removed by effects that clear all status ailments like Eye Twitch. If cast on a target already affected by a DoT, it will override the current DoT effect.
