The Hookshot is a quest item connected to the Eye See What You Do There quest found in a chest within the Black Sanctum's outer areas. The location of the Hookshot changes on a daily basis, although on rare occasion the location randomly ends up being where it was during the previous day. When used against Occularis, the Hookshot removes one of its eyes. This reduces the number of attacks Occularis has available, reduces its HP by 250 unless it is already at or below 250 HP, and creates an Eye monster that can be attacked.
There is a special achievement awarded to players who defeat Occularis without using the Hookshot (Perfect Vision), but it is not an easy feat to achieve.
