Go through the portal in the storeroom (the building at the bottom of Verity with stairs going down) to arrive at Future Verity. Go down to exit the town to the future overworld, where you can randomly encounter Boomers, or walk up and to the left to rescue Bamir's Son (after defeating a slight variant of the Warder).
