Shops sell various types of item and typically fall into one of three categories:

*Sells weapons and/or armor,
*Sells consumables such as [[Antidote|antidotes]] and [[Magic Herb A|herbs]],
*Sells personal items such as clothes dyes and masks.

All towns and cities have shops that cover the first two categories. Some shops use a currency other than gold, such as most of the shops in the [[The Colosseum|Colosseum]] and all of the shops in the [[Black Sanctum]].
