The Hookshot is a quest item connected to the [[Eye See What You Do There]] quest found in a chest within the [[Black Sanctum|Black Sanctum's]] outer areas. The location of the Hookshot changes on a daily basis, although on rare occasion the location randomly ends up being where it was during the previous day. When used against [[Occularis]], the Hookshot removes one of its eyes. This reduces the number of attacks [[Occularis]] has available, reduces its HP by 250 unless it is already at or below 250 HP, and creates an Eye monster that can be attacked.

There is a special achievement awarded to players who defeat [[Occularis]] without using the Hookshot ([[Perfect Vision]]), but it is not an easy feat to achieve.
